Activate

Activate is a social gathering which takes place every Wednesday evening 7pm to 9pm at our Spennymoor Resource Centre. All adults with a learning disability are welcome to come along and join us. The aim of Activate is to offer individuals the opportunity to meet up with others and participate in fun creative workshops and games where they can develop friendships and appropriate relationships in a safe enviroment. It also helps in promoting independence and personal development to those that attend.

To join Activate you would need to come along one Wednesday evening accompanied by a parent/carer and complete the required registration form. Further details regarding terms of attendence will be given during registration.

10 Year Anniversary Show

We recently staged a show at The Civic Centre, in Shildon to celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary.  The show was enjoyed by Family, Friends, Carers and other professional organisations.  The Drama and Performing Arts group have been preparing for this event for several months and although a little nervous put on a grand show.
